Sir Edwin Lancaster, the Viscount of Curovao, is a respected noble of House Curovao and the First Admiral of Brentaal's Combined Defense and Merchant Fleets. His career as an Admiral in the Old Republic spanned decades, with particular distinction in the Clone Wars. He later helped advise the Empire in the founding of the Imperial Academy before returning to his homeworld to command its fabled fleets. In 10 BBY, the Imperial Senate passed a resolution proposed by Senator Cambrist honoring Sir Edwin for a "long and illustrious career" and awarded him the Distinguished Medal of Imperial Honor.
In late 10 BBY, he traveled the Perlemian Trade Route on a "goodwill tour" on the way to participate in war games in the Auril Sector.
He has been described as a "monocle enthusiast."
